Hi, Katie. Enjoyed your brief discussion with Travis Campbell. I think it should be “required viewing” for LinkedIn newbies. It answers the question – “OK, I’ve got my profile on LinkedIn, now what?” Especially appreciated your comment about “this isn’t rocket science.” I believe many talented people enter the world of LinkedIn with trepidation. They want to do what’s “right” and avoid what’s “wrong,” so they don’t look stupid. Who cares? Getting practice is important – polishing will come with time. Just a personal tip for you, Katie: try to modulate your voice. You came off sounding somewhat monotone. Otherwise, A+.

  2. Hello Katie, We met at a KeyNET meeting back in December 2006 and I’ve seen a constant upward movement for you ever since. Katie, you shine in this expert interview with Travis. The hints and suggestions you offered will help us to effectively increase our profitability by using LinkedIn as one of our networking connections. We will still have to create an awareness of our business to our prospects and tweak their interest in our products/services. Then we need to earn their trust so they’ll have the desire to purchase from us. Using LinkedIn, as you teach it, will definitely improve our chances. Katie, you looked super fine throughout the entire interview. A+. Happy Birthday!
